Issue: Wage growth is not matched with the cost of living

Solutions: 

  • People should be paid a livable wage. We should institute a minimum wage nation-wide.            
  • CEO wage gaps should not continue to grow at exponential rates; profits should be shared with workers.
  • The government should step in and raise wages, make services and goods affordable for low-wage earners, and expand access to the WIC program.
  • Teach technical skills in high schools and affordable classes at technical colleges.
  • Use local organizations as instructors and resources for technical training. Georgia is home to many army and cyber organizations with individuals who can offer training throughout the 12th Congressional district.
